Passion is Perfect

Hello All,
What is your passion? That one thing that you would do even if you didn't get paid for it. When you think about it, it brings you joy and peace. There is no reservation, or hesitation when it comes to it. You can feel your heart beat in rhythmic time, and life has bonified meaning. Do you know what your passion is? Ignite a fire inside of you and grasp your truth. Don't be afraid of what it looks like, what it sounds like, or what anybody says. Do you and be who you are! Live the life that you were meant to live. In your passion lies your purpose. Love life!

Head Not the Tail

Hello All,
There is a Yoruba proverb that says: For no man can be blessed without the acceptance of his own head. The wise Africans knew and understood the power of the mind. People can only be as good as their thoughts, as successful as mental patterns, as progressive as their ideas. Africans did not rely on books, relative theories or quotations. They listened to their thoughts, prayed for divine guidance, followed intuition. Education, money, fame and notoriety were considered as useful as dirty dishwater without a clear, firm, focused mind. Their process was simple. They developed a strong faith and connection to God. A healthy love and respect for their ancestors and parents. A commitment and dedication to the traditions of their family. And a trusting relationship to the spirit of their own head. Trust your head and your first thoughts regardless of how it sounds. Your head takes you to the places you want to go.

Be Blessed,

Celebrate Women's History Month

March is Women's History Month, a celebration honoring women's contributions in the arts and sciences, as well as their efforts in the struggle for equality. Women's History Month traces its origins to International Women's Day, which took place for the first time on March 8, 1911. This later served as the focal point of National Women's History Week, officially recognized by Presidential Proclamation in 1980. Finally, in 1987, Congress expanded this event into a month-long celebration.

There is Purpose

Hello All,
People email me all the time and ask, "How do I know what my purpose is?" I always respond, "Seek the Lord, because He is the only one that will be able to tell you that." The very thing that I thought was just a hobby, happened to be my God-given purpose. God revealed it to me, and laid out all the instructions. It was so crystal clear that I had absolutely no doubt or reservation. Sometimes, it is not easy! However, God always places the right circumstances and people in my path that will allow me to carry out my mission. God will not reveal something to you without giving you the proper guidance. He is a God of order, and knows what is best for us according to His plan.

Our problem is that we are usually not on the same page with God. We want things to happen in our time, and when we think it is best. We grow impatient in our waiting, and decide we will take matters into our own hands. Once that happens, all hell breaks loose and we realize that we should have just remained still.

Let me encourage you today to seek God's presence and voice. If you don't know what your purpose is, ask Him. Be open, available, and ready. When He reveals it to you, be encouraged that He will give you everything you need to do what He is asking of you.

Be Blessed,
