Thankful

Hello All,
My Nana use to say that just when you think you have the worst....there is always somebody worse off than you. "You should be thankful for whatcha got!" she would say. This Thanksgiving, her words came to mind. I started thanking God for what I did have and not to complain about what I didn't....cause things could be a lot worse.

I am thankful for my health and strength, the use of my limbs, the full capacity of all my faculties, in my right mind, a roof over my head, food to eat, transportation, a job, family, friends, and another opportunity to get things right.

Life is too short to worry and complain....life keeps on moving with or without us. I am tired of running on empty and not utilizing my full power and potential. Thanks Nana for getting me back on track. Miss you and Love you.

Be Blessed,
Archuleta

Truth

Hello All,
John 8:32 remind us that "you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (NKJV). God is concerned with Truth and so should we. His word teaches the truth; His spirit reveals the truth; His son leads us to the truth. When we open our hearts to God, and when we allow His son to rule over our thoughts and our lives, God reveals Himself, and we come to understand the truth about ourselves and the Truth about God's gift of grace. Are you seeking the truth and living by it? Hopefully so. When you do, you'll discover that the truth will indeed set you free, now and forever.

Overcome Procrastination

Hello All,
I had an epiphany this morning - Don't spend major time with minor people or minor things. Some people provide very negative forces in our lives. When we waste our time being involved in their self-destructive behavior, it will have a negative influence on us. People that are on-the-grow, active, productive, open to change, spiritual, caring and optimistic are contagious. Their attitudes and habits can influence is in positive way. In addition, don't confuse activity with accomplishment. If I sit on the couch with my laptop and say, "I'm getting some writing done", but my page is blank...I am not accomplishing anything!! The sheer act of sitting down in front of the computer has to be backed up with putting something on the screen that will lead to a finished product. Sometimes we engage in distracting and insignificant activities to avoid action on what is really important.

As we go into 2010....desire to win!! Win the battle against procrastination and open yourself up to endless possibilities!!
